The Sir Walter Raleigh in East Budleigh village is the perfect spot to start or end your adventure in the Otter Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. From the pub there are fantastic walking routes taking in the beautiful River Otter and its Estuary or across the Pebblebed Heaths, one of the most highly-regarded conservation sites in Europe. Cyclists are equally spoilt for choice, whether it’s a mountain-bike ride across Woodbury and our other Commons, or an epic ascent of Peak Hill.
